Who’s coming: Eat the Street Day of the Dead

Several new vendors will join the mix at this Friday’s Eat the Street, which will be a Latin-themed food fest in honor of Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead). The newcomers include Bentos, Mochi and Delectables, with its mochi truffles and “Chubby Fudgy Bowls,” and Kohnotori, well-known for the yakitori it serves at its University-area eatery. Luibueno’s, a Haleiwa restaurant, will also bring its homemade Latin and Mexican cuisine to Kaka’ako for the festivities.

When: Friday, Oct. 26, from 4-9 p.m.
Where: 555 South St. in Kaka’ako (at Halekauwila, kitty-corner from Restaurant Row)
