Artist Kaori Ukaji to speak at UH-Hilo
The University of Hawaii at Hilo Art Department will host Kaori Ukaji in its next Artist Public Lecture presentation at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 17, in room UCB 127.
The series of presentations, designed to broaden awareness through conversation with contemporary artists who may reflect on a range of considerations that provide direction for their current approach to making. The conversations with selected contemporary artists are free and open to the general public.
Ukaji has been a featured artist in numerous local, national, and international exhibition venues. Ukaji will discuss “Confronting…” and other works from her oeuvre.
