Hawaii chef Sam Choy ‘chopped’ from Food Network show
Hawaii chef Sam Choy made it past the appetizer round, but was ultimately eliminated during the entree round on the finale of the Food Network program “Chopped Grill Masters.”
KHON reports Choy, who owns Sam Choy’s Breakfast, Lunch & Crab in Honolulu and Sam Choy’s Kai Lanai in Kailua-Kona, was up against three Mainland chefs, including Ernest Servantes of Texas, who won the $50,000 cash prize and “was named best griller in the West.”
